Tenant-Site Terms of Use
1. About this document
This page describes the standard terms of use that apply when you interact with a website, booking page, AI receptionist, or lead form that is powered by ServiceLocal ("we" run the technical platform; the term "we" in this document is used loosely — see Section 2).
You are most likely reading this because you followed a footer link from a local business's site at {slug}.servicelocal.ai. The page you came from is operated by an independent business (the "Business") that uses our platform to run its bookings, customer communications, and voice receptionist.
This page is a single, standard document that applies to all sites powered by us. It does not replace, and cannot speak for, the Business's own policies on pricing, cancellation, refunds, warranties, or service quality — those are between you and the Business.
2. Two parties
When you book an appointment, fill out a form, or call the voice receptionist on a site powered by us, you are entering into a service relationship with the Business — not with ServiceLocal.
- The Business is the party offering and performing the service you booked.
- ServiceLocal (Exige SARL) is a software-as-a-service provider that operates the website, booking system, AI receptionist, and customer-relationship tools used by the Business. We do not provide the service that the Business offers, and we are not party to any agreement between you and the Business.
For questions about pricing, cancellation, refund, no-show policy, the work performed, warranties, quality, or anything else the Business directly does for you: contact the Business using the contact details on the page you came from.
For questions about the technical platform (the booking system, the AI receptionist's behaviour, an outage, a privacy concern about how the platform handles data): contact us at [email protected].
3. Using the booking page or contact forms
By submitting a booking request, lead form, or contact form on a site powered by us, you confirm that:
- The information you provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You are at least 18 years old, or you are submitting on behalf of an adult.
- You authorise the Business to contact you at the email and phone number you provided, using email, SMS, or phone calls, in order to confirm, reschedule, or provide your booking.
Submitting a request does not guarantee that the Business will accept your booking. The Business may decline, reschedule, or follow up to confirm at its discretion.
4. Using the AI receptionist
The voice line or chat surface on sites powered by us may be answered by an AI assistant operated on behalf of the Business. The AI will identify itself as an AI assistant in its greeting.
You should be aware that:
- The AI may collect information you share — your name, phone number, the reason you are contacting the Business, your address, and any details you provide — and pass that information to the Business as part of a booking or inquiry record.
- The AI may make mistakes. Confirm important details (pricing, address, appointment time, deposit requirements) directly with the Business.
- You can ask to speak to a human at any time. The AI is permitted to disclose that it is an AI assistant on request, and to attempt to escalate the call where the Business has configured that option.
- The platform does not retain call audio or full call transcripts. Only a summary of the call and basic metadata (your phone number, duration, timestamps) are passed to the Business. See the Tenant-Site Privacy Notice at https://servicelocal.ai/legal/tenant-site-privacy for the full picture.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Business's site, booking page, lead form, or AI receptionist to:
- Submit information that is false, misleading, or impersonates another person;
- Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse anyone — including the AI;
- Send unlawful, infringing, harmful, or sexually explicit content;
- Use automation, bots, scraping, or any automated method to interact with the platform or to submit content;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, probe its security, or interfere with other users;
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
We and the Business each reserve the right to refuse service, decline any submission, and block access for any reason consistent with applicable law.
6. AI output
The AI receptionist and AI-driven content on sites powered by us are provided as-is. They may be incorrect, incomplete, out of date, or inappropriate for your specific situation. Do not rely on AI output for emergencies, safety-critical decisions, medical or legal questions, or anything that requires professional judgment. In an emergency, call 911 (in the United States) or your local emergency number.
7. Intellectual property
The site's brand, logos, copy, photos, and any AI-generated content are owned by the Business or by ServiceLocal and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from them except for ordinary, lawful personal use of the site as a prospective customer.
8. No warranties; allocation of risk
THE SITE, THE BOOKING SYSTEM, AND THE AI RECEPTIONIST ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NEITHER ServiceLocal NOR THE BUSINESS MAKES ANY WARRANTY THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, ACCURATE, OR SUITED TO YOUR PURPOSE.
NEITHER ServiceLocal NOR THE BUSINESS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR FROM ANY INTERACTION BETWEEN YOU AND THE AI ASSISTANT. ANY CLAIM AGAINST ServiceLocal ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM IS LIMITED, IN THE AGGREGATE, TO USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or damages; in those jurisdictions the limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This Section does not limit any rights you have directly against the Business under the laws applicable to your transaction with them.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute against ServiceLocal arising from these terms or from your use of the platform will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
This Section addresses disputes against ServiceLocal only. Disputes with the Business are governed by whatever agreement and law apply between you and the Business directly.
10. Changes to this document
We may update this document from time to time. The current version is always posted at https://servicelocal.ai/legal/tenant-site-terms with the version number and effective date.
11. Contact
For questions about how the platform operates: email ServiceLocal at [email protected].
